Mozart (1756-1791) Alain Truche was born near Strasbourg in France, where he
started his musical studies at a municipal conservatory. He began his organ
studies with Dr. Egler, professor of organ at Central Michigan University, when
his family moved to Midland, MI. His Bachelor’s Degree in Organ Performance
was obtained at that University. He then moved to Bloomington to continue his
studies in music and to study organ with Dr. Keiser in the Master’s program in
music at Indiana University, after which he came to the University of Nebraska
to pursue a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree. He is currently studying organ with
Dr. Ritchie. He has been Organ Scholar at St. Cecilia Cathedral in Omaha,
since August 2004.
